Looking for counselling is a scary process. You need someone who will respect you and understand its hard to talk about some things but is also knowledgeable and experienced.

I work in a warm and professional way with all my clients.  I have over fifteen years experience working with mental health issues, addictions and also self development in different settings.

I became interested in counselling in general and then trained as a relationship counsellor, on-line counsellor and supervisor.

In addition to face to face counselling I offer online counselling via email or live sessions on Skype and I am experienced in working on the internet.

I am a member of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to the Professional Conduct Procedure for the time being in force.  Simply, this means I work to a code of practice and can be held accountable if I don't.

I practice in Central Scotland, in the heart of Forth Valley.  Close to both Kincardine Bridge, Clackmannanshire Bridge and the M876 motorway exit.

I am experienced in working a broad range of complaints such as:

  • addictions
  • stress
  • anxiety
  • loss
  • bereavement
  • depression
  • emotional crisis/breakdown
  • irrational fears
  • stress management
  • managing life changes

As a couple counsellor I can help you identify how these problems are upsetting your relationship and help you find ways to get back on track.

You may not be able to see what your problems are, but rather have a vague feeling of being blocked and that your life is limited, stunted in some way. Perhaps you feel locked into repeating patterns of behaviour or simply need some direction in your life.

I provide a safe setting for looking at issues.  This can help release you from being frightened and feeling you can't do some things. I can help you feel stronger and more confident in yourself which can help make your quality of life feel better.
